Jim Terrell brings over 33 years of hands-on experience in commercial construction and tenant improvements in Jacksonville FL to Impact Design Build LLC as its founding Senior Principal. His career began as co-founder of Infinity Design Builders in 1993, where he also co-owned Bruce Terrell Architects — giving him a rare dual perspective as both a licensed architect and a certified general contractor.
After Infinity Design Builders, Jim joined Ash Properties, a prominent local development company with an in-house ground-up construction team, where he served as Director of Construction for five years. During that period, Ash Construction completed numerous multi-level storage buildings, retail centers, and office buildings — with Jim playing an active leadership role from undeveloped land through completed structures.
Several of the projects represented by photographs on this website were completed during Jim's tenure at Ash Properties and Ash Construction.
In 2023, Jim founded Impact Design Build LLC — carrying forward decades of expertise, an unwavering commitment to quality, and a genuine passion for the construction industry.
